3d Eversion Flips

So I practiced 3d Eversion flips....It seemed to handle really good.
I think I am going to try the 500mAh batteries and see if I can get more
flight time.

Here is the video ...Enjoy.

Training wheels Mod.

I have now installed my training wheels on my quad. This will help me keep from hitting the walls and items inside when flying. It seems to help stabilize a little also which helps in maneuvering.

Here is a video of the flight with the Mod (training wheels on) enjoy;

Flew outside after the wind died, and it flew for the whole extent of the battery. Also tried one of those 3d Eversion flips and almost did a complete recovery.

Racing Quad Frame has arrived.

Well my racing Quad 250 frame has arrived so we will put it together to see what it will look like.

So when assembling the quad frame, you need to put the red standoffs on before the bottom and the wing arms.

Next the rubber vibration grommets go in for the camera mount.

Now comes the completed top screwed down to each of the red standoffs.

Wall Outlet charging

Seems to be a faster charging using the outlet rather than the computer USB.

Its Mod time.

So I did the same Mod that Mark did, it seems to get of ground easier. The controls are a bit touchy, figure if we can master these, when I get the good controller it will be a lot easier.

Here are some videos of me flying after the Mod.

I will probably get some 500mAh batteries for this unit.

Motor Mod

Here is a Mod that Mark found to protect and raise the motors using a zip tie. The loose end is fastened with a small piece of tape or a smaller zip tie will do.

Weighted Flight

Took the center cover off, added a little weight to each of the x arms for stability just until I get the hang of the controls and the weather permits flying outside.

Extra Batteries and a 110 volt charger.

Here is a link to Amazon for batteries and a 110 volt charger.....

Also don't leave your batteries plugged in overnight guess it shortens the battery life from what I am reading.

One other thing number your batteries when using multiple ones.

Maiden Flight

January 12, 2015 I unboxed the quadcopter my Brother Marks sent me.....here is my maiden flight.
